Silver & Turquoise Necklace

Made from a variety of organic materials, including stone, shell, bone, antler and metal, arrowheads have been used throughout history the world over. Arrowheads carry with them symbols and meanings that differ with the various regions and cultures that created them; they can show direction and movement or symbolize protection and strength. One example, in Native American symbolism, a downward pointing arrow represents peace.

This pendant, with its singular arrowhead pointing downward, represents that symbolism. It's a reminder that we all need to promote peace, respect and kindness for all regions and cultures around the world.

The pendant displays a Carico turquoise stone. The multi-layered setting is interwoven with double strands of hand-braided brown leather cords that are gathered together by cuff beads and ends in hand-fabricated endcaps and hook clasp. The 2-1/4-inch extender chain makes the necklace wearable at a variety of lengths.
