Since childhood, I have been more at home in the outdoors than indoors. My passions and careers have always revolved around plants, art and horses…from botanical illustration; landscape design and estate gardening; commercial flower farming; gardening book author, to most recently, designing jewelry. Each piece of handmade, narrative jewelry that I design is a piece of wearable art that tells a story about Nature. I hope you find a piece that resonates with your soul and personal connection to the great outdoors.
Photography has been an important part of my life since my early teens. At the age of 15, I started shooting as a stringer for one daily and four weekly newspapers in the northern suburbs of Detroit. By my early twenties, I came to realize that my place in the photography world would reside in the beauty and design offered by our wild and natural landscapes. From the smallest bloom, to the largest canyon, the natural world provides an aesthetic benchmark that is unmatched in our man-made world.
